Marchesi Antinori
Antinori are one of the oldest and most respected families in the world of wine. Their Tuscan estates are home to some of the most sought-after and iconic wines that have often become trail-blazing in their impact on the market. In a field that is particularly heavy with competition, it says much that they are able to continue producing high quantity and very high quality wines across the price spectrum. From Tignanello to Santa Cristina and Peppoli to Masseto, their wines are fine, balanced and manage quality to price ratios with fairness, allowing all consumers to be able to benefit from their excellent winemaking. This estate in Umbria is home to their most elegant and French-like wines, the Castello della Sala. Here they grow Pinot Noir and excellent Chardonnay. This wine is the fresher and vibrant partner to the incredible Cervaro della Sala, which is one of the great white European wines. Bramito is its own wine however, and gives complex flavours of yellow and white fruit, subtle spice and is balanced by refreshing acidity. Excellent with food and a rewarding aperitif.
