The wines of Paolo Sacchetto are excellent. At every point along the family journey to market, there are decisions that he makes that allow for the very best quality and value to be to the fore, in every bottle. Though some of the wines won't achieve the greatness that other regional producers might, Paolo himself is not too concerned as he knows that the level to which each of his wines reaches is, euro for euro, better value and quality for the customer than 95% of his competitors. This Prosecco, however, needs no such excuses. A genuine contender for the best Prosecco made, it is from a single vintage, from the best and oldest Glera vines grown in the DOCG of Valdobbiadene and is concentrated, smooth and textured with a long finish and a persistent mousse. As good as a sparkling wine from this grape could be and certainly not over-priced either.
