Lyrarakis Vóila Assyrtiko is a single-varietal white wine hailing from the island of Crete in Greece. It is made from 100% Assyrtiko grapes, which are known for their high acidity and ability to express the terroir of their origin.

In the glass, the wine has a bright and clear lemon-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of citrus, peach, white flowers, and a hint of minerality. On the palate, the wine is dry, with a full body and a refreshing acidity that balances its rich texture. flavours of lemon, lime, and grapefruit dominate, with a subtle hint of saltiness that is characteristic of wines from coastal regions.

This Assyrtiko wine is a great match for seafood, grilled fish, and Mediterranean cuisine. Its high acidity and complexity make it a versatile wine that can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. It is best served chilled, around 10-12°C, to fully appreciate its crisp and refreshing character.

Tasting Notes

Silky, full-bodied mouthfeel with aromas of stone fruit and delicate notes of ginger. A generous mouthfeel with exuberant fruit balanced by a backbone of lean minerality.

Delivery Info

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
