Monte da Peceguina Tinto

Monte da Peceguina Tinto is a red wine produced in the Alentejo region of Portugal by the Monte da Peceguina winery. It is made from a blend of local grape varieties, including Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, and Touriga Nacional.

This wine has a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, along with notes of spice, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with flavours of black cherry, cassis, and chocolate, balanced by firm tannins and a good acidity. The wine has a long and smooth finish, with a touch of minerality that adds freshness and elegance.

Monte da Peceguina Tinto is a versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, such as grilled meats, hearty stews, and strong cheeses. It is a great representation of the Alentejo region, known for producing full-bodied and rich wines with a distinctive character.

A lush, smooth, layered and textured wine full of spice, plum, damson and vanilla with a delicious combination of ripe dark berries, sweet spice and freshness on the long finish.

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
