Herdade do Sobroso
Filipe Teixeira inherited an unbelievable estate. It is more than 1600 hectares in size and has forest land, grain, wild boar, ducks galore and 50 hectares of vines. Having studied under Luis Duarte, Filipe now makes wines that are reflective of his tutor but also of his land - they are rich, soft and excellent with food. This is the estate's most approachable wine that is soft and smooth but concentrated enough to give rich food a run for its money.
