Herederos del Marques de Riscal, Rueda

Marques de Roscal were one of the early pioneers in Rueda and were also one of the first famous producers to promote the qualities found in this region, rather than promoting the White wines of Rioja. Though some thought it to be a commercial and money-saving decision, the qualities that came out of Rueda quickly showed that they had stuck gold and their investment has long since been rewarded. Now also growing Sauvignon Blanc in the region, this wine is only made of Verdejo and retains the freshness and delicacy of this indigenous variety.
