Hugel, Gentil d'Alsace

Some of the very best producers in Alsace make a style called Gentil. Typically blended from all of the varieties grown in Alsace, or more accurately, in the vineyards of the producer, the style captures many of the wonderful aspects of the region. Fresh flavours of apple, petals, citrus fruit and blossom are very well-balanced. Hugel themselves are one of the best and longest established producers in the region that have quality of tradition and innovation. Always humorous in their approach, they wear the Alsace message as a life crusade to bring more people to these wonderful wines.
