Lawson's Dry Hills
This wine was one of the first New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs to be imported into Ireland back in the late 1990s. Barbara Lawson still continues to support the Irish market and is delighted with the success, not only of her wines, but of the New Zealand wine industry in general here. This Sauvignon Blanc really bears the hallmarks of a great exponent of the style: crisp and refreshing it is full of green apple, kiwi, gooseberry and nettle character, with more subtle tomato plant and blackcurrant leaf on the long finish. A true classic that has strong roots in Ireland.
