Bodegas Muga
Description
Bodegas Muga are a traditional and highly-respected winery based in the historic town of Haro in the region of Rioja Alta. This is where traditions can sometimes lead to blindness to positive modern interventions, but in Muga's case, there is a perfect balance: their traditional outlook is to see what the best practises available to them are and to deploy them. This wine is fined by using egg whites but is also matured in oak that comes from the best cooperage in Spain, Murua, where they use modern methods for the production of their barrels. A blend of the best of all worlds, Muga continues to be a firm favourite with critics and wine-lovers alike.
