Italo Cescon Pianissimo Ca Della Scala Amarone is a premium Italian red wine made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes using the traditional Amarone winemaking method. The grapes are dried for several months, resulting in a concentration of their sugars and flavours. The wine is then fermented and aged in oak barrels for at least three years, resulting in a full-bodied and complex wine with intense aromas of black fruits, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla.

This wine is highly regarded for its quality and complexity, and is often considered one of the best examples of Amarone. It pairs well with hearty dishes such as grilled or roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. It can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years to allow its flavours to further develop and evolve.

Tasting Notes

Intense bouquet of typically jammy fruits with red berries and dried figs notes, cedar and spice. A rich but well-balanced palate, fine and velvety, fresh and savoury, with round tannins and a long finish.

Delivery Info

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
