Izadi Rioja Reserva is a red wine from the Rioja region of Spain, made entirely from Tempranillo grapes. Aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels, it's then matured for an additional year in the bottle before release. This process creates a wine with a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of black cherry, blackberry, plum, vanilla, spice, and toasted oak.On the palate, it's full-bodied with good acidity, well-structured tannins, flavours of dark fruit, cocoa, and a hint of leather, and a long, lingering finish.

Bodegas Izadi, a family-owned winery in Villabuena de Álava, produces the Izadi Rioja Reserva. They use sustainable winemaking practices and a combination of traditional and modern techniques to create wines that reflect the region's terroir.

The wine pairs well with roasted meats, game, and hearty stews and can be enjoyed now or cellared for aging. The Izadi Rioja Reserva is an excellent choice for wine enthusiasts who prefer a full-bodied red wine with a rich and complex flavour profile that showcases the unique characteristics of the Rioja region.

Tasting Notes

Rich aromatic intensity and a nice balance of red fruit, liquorice and spices, with hints of smoke in the background. Elegant and round on the palate with a long aftertaste full of floral and ripe fruit notes.

Delivery Info

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
