Muga Reserva Rioja

Muga Reserva Rioja is a red wine from the Rioja region of Spain, known for its high-quality Tempranillo-based wines. The wine is a blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 7% Mazuelo, and 3% Graciano grapes and is aged for 24 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months of aging in the bottle before release.

It has a deep ruby color and a complex aroma featuring notes of ripe red and dark fruit, such as cherry, blackberry, and plum, as well as hints of vanilla, spice, and toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a good level of acidity and well-structured tannins, with flavours of dark fruit, cocoa, and a subtle hint of leather. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant and lingering aftertaste.

Muga Reserva Rioja is a great choice for those seeking a full-bodied red wine with a rich and complex flavour profile that showcases the unique characteristics of the Rioja region. It pairs well with a variety of dishes, including roasted meats, game, and hearty stews, and can be enjoyed now or cellared for further aging.

Smooth and full-bodied, ripe dark berries mingle with notes fennel, smoke, liquorice and toast, and underlying hints of vanilla pod coming through with coffee notes, beautifully balanced with elegant acidity.

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
