Banfi Brunello di Montalcino

Banfi Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine made in the Montalcino region of Tuscany, Italy. It is produced by the Banfi winery, which is known for its high-quality wines and has been producing wine in Italy for over 100 years.

The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, which are hand-harvested and carefully selected before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for at least two years in oak barrels, followed by additional bottle aging before release.

Montalcino is a rich and complex wine with a deep ruby color and aromas of dark fruit, spice, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and flavours of black cherry, plum, and leather. The wine has a long and elegant finish, with a touch of acidity that adds to its balance and structure.

This wine is often considered one of the best expressions of Sangiovese and is a great example of the quality that can be achieved in the Montalcino region. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now or aged for several years to come. It pairs well with grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, and aged cheeses.

Full-bodied and velvety with rich dark damson and plum fruits, backed by layers of liquorice spice, toast and fig notes, with a powerful and persistent finish.

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
