Seixo Amarello Duoro

Seixo Amarelo Douro is a red wine produced in the Douro Valley region of Portugal. It is made from a blend of traditional grape varieties native to the region, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinto Cão.

This wine has a deep ruby color with aromas of blackberry, plum, and cherry, along with notes of vanilla, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with flavours of dark fruit, such as blackberry and black cherry, complemented by a good acidity and firm tannins. The wine has a long and complex finish, with a touch of oak that adds depth and complexity.

Seixo Amarelo Douro is a great representation of the quality and character of the wines produced in the Douro Valley, known for their richness, complexity, and balance. It is a wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, such as roasted meats, stews, and hard cheeses. The wine is aged in oak barrels, which contributes to its structure and complexity.

An attractive bouquet of violet and blackberries balanced by characteristic freshness of high altitude wines. A firm mineral structure provides the backbone to the silky palate which is both unctuous and layered.

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
