Kim Crawford
Kim Crawford's wines were amongst the earliest from New Zealand to make a significant impression in overseas markets. In Ireland, there were only a handful of choices available for New Zealand fans when, in the early 2000s, this Sauvignon hit the scene. Like a famous beer, it was reassuringly expensive but quite extraordinarily and unlike most other wineries from the region, the price has, in real terms stayed exactly the same, whilst the quality has increased, quietly, year on year. The food-matching capabilities at first meant that there were few chances to try the wine outside of restaurants, but it has recently become a key part in our wine offering.
