Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec

Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec is a red wine produced by Bodegas Salentein, a winery located in the Uco Valley region of Mendoza, Argentina. This wine is made from 100% Malbec grapes grown in the high-altitude vineyards of the Uco Valley.

This Malbec has a deep violet color with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, and black cherry, along with hints of vanilla, tobacco, and chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with flavours of dark fruit, such as blackberry, plum, and black currant, complemented by a good acidity and firm tannins. The wine has a long and complex finish, with a touch of oak that adds depth and complexity.

Salentein Barrel Selection Malbec is a great representation of the quality and character of the wines produced in the Uco Valley, known for their richness, complexity, and balance. It is a wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, such as grilled meats, stews, and strong cheeses. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which contributes to its structure and complexity.

Full-bodied and smooth with intense flavours of black fruits alongside hints of leather, chocolate & tobacco from the oak ageing.

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
