Ferdinand Mayr Na Als Dann Blaufränkisch is an Austrian red wine that is made from the Blaufränkisch grape variety, which is one of the most widely planted red grape varieties in Austria. This wine is produced by the Ferdinand Mayr winery, located in the Weinviertel region of Austria.

The wine has a deep ruby color with a complex aroma of black fruits, such as blackberry and black cherry, along with hints of spice, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with soft, velvety tannins that are well-balanced by a fresh acidity. flavours of blackberry, black cherry, and plum dominate, with a subtle herbal note on the finish.

Ferdinand Mayr Na Als Dann Blaufränkisch is aged in oak barrels for a period of 12-18 months, which adds complexity and depth to the wine. This wine can be enjoyed now, but it also has the potential to age well for several years. It's an excellent wine to pair with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or hearty stews and a great choice for any wine enthusiast who appreciates the unique flavours and aromas of Austrian red wines.

Tasting Notes

A spicy nose with notes of ripe redcurrant, raspberry and blackberry, combined with soft but assertive tannins resulting in a high-quality Blaufränkisch with great typicity.

Delivery Info

A flat delivery rate of €10.50 applies to all orders. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery and no fee is applied for in-store collection.

We aim to dispatch all wine orders within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary depending on product availability and during peak trading hours. Most wine products will be delivered or can be collected within 5 working days from time of ordering.

All wine deliveries are provided by courier. Deliveries take place on Monday to Friday only. You will receive a notification and a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

Cancellation or amendments to wine orders must be made and confirmed directly with our sales team between 9am and 4pm, Monday - Friday and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or store collection date.
