Description
Ramón Bilbao Reserva Rioja is a high-quality red wine from the Rioja region in Spain. It is made primarily from the Tempranillo grape, along with small amounts of Graciano and Mazuelo.
This wine is aged for at least 20 months in American oak barrels, followed by several years of bottle aging before release. This extended aging process gives Ramón Bilbao Reserva Rioja its characteristic complex aromas and flavours.
On the nose, it exhibits aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberries, cherries, and plums, along with notes of vanilla, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with a velvety texture and a perfect balance between fruit and oak flavours. The tannins are firm and silky, providing a long-lasting finish that lingers in the mouth.
Ramón Bilbao Reserva Rioja is a versatile wine that pairs well with a wide range of dishes, including roasted meats, game, stews, and aged cheeses. It is also a great wine to enjoy on its own, as a perfect expression of the Rioja terroir and winemaking tradition.
